Christina Von Fieandt resided in Hawaii for 38 years and was highly esteemed for her innovative approach in reimagining the traditional Hawaiian art of lauhala weaving into ribbon weaving to create her one-of-a kind designer dresses, evening gowns, coats, jackets, suits, and accessories. Her creations have graced runways and outfitted dozens of pageant contestants, including winners of titles like Miss America, Mrs. America, Mrs. USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe along with contestants representing other countries. Her regular clientele included prominent business leaders and influential political figures in Hawaii.
