Winchester model 42, 26” barrel, factory Skeet choked, Simmon’s rib added, blued finish, select wood stock, blued pistol grip cap, serial #158407. The barrel and magazine tube show 90% plus old refinish, probably at time of the rib’s edition. The frame shows traces of blue on the left, 75% blue on the right, and some cleaning on the left side where it was rusted. The stocks have been lightly refinished but fit up to the metal nicely and approx. 90% of the finish remains. The gun shows a Winchester hard-rubber recoil pad. The action is good, the bore is very good. Would improve considerably with a professional refinish. From the Howard Bud" Goebel collection. Est: $1 000 - $2 000"
