Made by Winchester Repeating Arms, circa 1960, for Naval Company Inc. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Gun is known as a "Bridger", was built on a Modified Winchester Model 37 single barrel shotgun. 14" blued Winchester Proof steel barrel marked with Winchester address, "Line Gun-45-70-Blanks Only", Winchester Proofs and on top "Bridger" Naval Co. Attached to barrel is aluminum line canister with rope roll inside, brass latch pin and chain with brass instruction and maker tag. Gun has standard blued Model 37, 12 gauge frame with standard trigger, external hammer type cocking and safety button, and opening lever. Standard walnut plain Model 37 pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber butt plate. Standard Winchester Model 37 plain walnut forearm. Comes with Naval Company documents and ATF regulations. NFA exempt. CALIBER: 45-70. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
