About Willoughby Sales
Our Company
Willoughby Sales was established in 1997. Our first sale was in Tipton, Indiana -- the 1st Annual Premier 10 and Mid-West Elite. Today, we've grown into a full service auction management company that specializes in show-quality livestock. Our sales attract the leading Club Lamb, Hog & Boer Goat Producers across the country. Willoughby Sales is officially licensed and bonded through the USDA Packers & Stockyards.
Our Family
The Willoughby family has been involved in the show livestock business since 1975, and we have seen the business from all sides. We've competitively fed, fitted, shown and sold Sheep, Boer Goats, Cattle and Hogs all over United States, and they've won the North American International Livestock Exposition, American Royal, National Western Stock Show and Rodeo, Northern International Livestock Exposition, Cow Palace, Eastern National and many other state and local shows from coast to coast and border to border.
I, Dan Willoughby, graduated in 1989 from the School of Agriculture Education at Purdue University. Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with many youth and their livestock projects throughout the country. There is no greater reward for me than to see a young person achieve their goals in a livestock project -- to see them mature and develop responsibility that will carry on throughout their life.
