TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I/we do hereby acknowledge that I/we have purchased at this
Auction Sale conducted by PHILIP BLACK Auctioneers (PBA) or
PHILIP BLACK (PB) as Auctioneer the goods under the terms &
conditions set out below or read or displayed on the day.
PBA or PB hereby grants to the party whose signature appears on
the registration agreement (bidder) the right to use
the number shown here-on for the purpose of bidding at this
auction. Bidder warrants that they are 18 years of age or older
and are able to enter into a legal and binding contract. Such right
is granted at the Auctioneer/s sole discretion and may be revoked
at any time.
No bidder may retract their bid once it is accepted.
Where any person is bidding on behalf of another person the
bidder must first provide the Auctioneer with a copy of his written
authority to bid prior to the commencement of the Auction
otherwise they will be deemed to be acting on their own behalf.
The entry of the name of the purchaser of a lot on the sale sheet
by the Auctioneer or its staff shall bind the purchaser to the
purchase of such lot.
The goods become the responsibility of the purchaser on the fall
of the hammer. All sales are final.
Time is of the essence.
There shall be no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied,
statutory or otherwise of any nature whatsoever in respect of any
of the lots offered at the Auction. Every lot shall be offered ‘as is
where is’ and sold with all faults if any. The Auctioneer/s make no
representation or warranty that any of the lots conform to any
standard in respect of safety, pollution or hazardous material or to
any standard or requirement of any applicable authority, law or
regulation or are fit for any particular purpose, or are merchantable
or financeable or are of any particular age, year of manufacture,
model, make, condition or serial number.
No error or misdescription in the particulars or deficiency in the
quantity of the property compr
