Very good. The rifle retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The breechblock and tang have faded to a silver-gray with traces of original case colors remaining. The stock is fine with some chipping along the grain and some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
