Two-piece silver belt buckle, hand engraved, S. P. Carson on both pieces. The Vance/Carson duel took place in 1827. This belt buckle was worn by Carson when he killed Dr. Vance at Saluda Gap, SC. September 12, 1827. Carson fought in the Texas War of Independence, signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, and was secretary of state in the cabinet of Texas’ first President, David Burnett. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
