New York City & Palm Beach resident, one of the most famed illustrators for the New Yorker, representing the flapper generation, this print shows the city wall around Tangier in Africa and the arched gate leading inside, a true exotic subject in the 20s. On the lower right, titled Tangier May 1925, good condition, rich colors, 8" wide by 11 1/4" tall. John Held was a teacher at Harvard as well.

Fourth: Shipping. We will try and work with you on shipping. On small objects, we can pack them here with bubble wrap and UPS ship to you. Be forewarned, UPS charges extra to deliver to residences , and now with fuel charges up, surcharges are in effect. If is not possible to quote an exact rate until the item or items are boxed and weighed, or dimensional weight is determined. We will be glad to take a guess as to shipping, but no guarantees can be made that this will be the final amount.
