Our handling fees are:
Lettermail Mail Envelope: $2.50 + Registered Mail Fee
Parcels: Min $10.00 (1 Lot) If we have to buy or create a special packaging, this will be added to your invoice. (special kind of box, crate, etc)
Each Additional Item: $2.50 a piece. We take good care to wrap your won items.
If you prefer COD, please let us know and we can ship it COD for you. Canada Post charges $7.50 for this service.
Insurance: We always send with insurance. The 1st $100 is free, Canada Post charges $2.75 per $100 after that.
All items will be sent with tracking numbers. We generally use Xpresspost (this is usually only a $1-2+ than expediated on smaller items). When we calculate the shipping, we try to use the most reasonably affordable shipping standard to help keep your costs low. Canada Post seems to be upping their charges often and we are conscious of this and try our best to keep the cost down for you. We've been there, we get it!
For those who choose shipping, please wait to pay your invoice, until we have got your items ready for delivery. We will charge your card on file. If you have chosen to pay via e-transfer we expect payment in 1 day from the invoice being sent to you. We have to pay out our consignors.

All invoice must be paid in full prior to picking your items.
We accept: Cash, etransfer, debit (via tap only), Visa, Mastercard. We will be charging out all cards at the end of each auction. For those who are chose to pay by etransfer or cash, we expect payment in full no later than Tuesday October 14 2024, 9am If payment has not been received by then we will go ahead and charge your card on file.

Transportation of items back to Edmonton:
$10 Small Moving Box (up to 25 lbs),

$50 for large items (like a BBQ, TV or anything that weighs 25 lbs or more)
For those that require shipping, kindly pay your invoice by the deadline mentioned above, once we have your items ready shipment, we will use the card on file to cover the shipping expenses.

Terms and Conditions of Auction Sale
1. Forms of payment: Cash, Etransfer, Visa, Mastercard, any invoice with a balance owing past the invoice deadline will be subject to a 3% Late Payment Fee compounded weekly.
2. All items are sold as-is, where-is and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser immediately once the item has been sold.
3. All items have been made available for inspection - the purchaser shall be held to have satisfied himself to the conditions, identity and authenticity and shall not be entitled to make any objection after the sale, whatsoever.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and shall control the bidding at all times. The Auctioneer has the final say on all sold items.
5. No items are to be received by the successful buyer until all items have been paid in full by the determined deadline below. Please note the consignor owns the lot(s) until the bidder has been deemed the successful buyer, which then the ownership transfer to the bidder/buyer. The buyer/bidder are responsible at this point forward.
6. Stoppage of payment will be turned over to legal authorities and all costs incurred will lie at the purchaser's expense.
7. All bidders MUST be 18 years of age and are bound by their signature on bidders' registration agreement.
8. You are responsible for all items charged to your bidding number | Don't throw your number in the garbage! Someone might come along and use it and you will be responsible!
9. I (we) agree to assign any or all properties, goods or chattels to the selling agent (Zaks Auctions & Services Ltd.) under the Personal Property Security Act in order that they may recover any monies owing against purchases whether arising from unpaid purchases and/or stoppage of payments.
10. Any bidder accruing an amount in excess of $2500 MUST clear their account before they can continue bidding and purchase more items.
11. Any paid lot NOT picked up by Saturday October 15, 2024, 5pm will be considered forfeited and becomes property of Zaks Auctions & Services Ltd. with the exclusion of those who require shipping (determined at point of registration) and those who have made previous alternate pick-up arrangements.
12. In no event with Zaks Auctions & Services Ltd. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages, losses, related to business interruption, loss of business information or lost profits arising out of or in connection with any website, the sale of any goods, the services, sales or the auction, or out of any breach of warranty, even if Zaks Auctions & Services Ltd. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. The Purchaser and any associated agents and attendees will be responsible for any damage, whether accidentally or with intention, to the property.
14. Shipping
Items that can be shipped, please be prepares that shipment may take upwards of 2-3 weeks of the auction closing.
