Remington New Model 1858 Army percussion revolver, .44 cal., 8” octagon barrel, blue finish, wood grips with inspector’s cartouche, #74642. The gun is in overall very good to near fine condition showing approx.70% original blue on barrel, cylinder and loading lever with approx. 20% original finish on frame with balance gone to a pleasing brown patina, brass trigger guard, old replaced trigger guard screw, crispaction, good bore, very good barrel address, fine wood grips with a crisp cartouche on left grip. The gun is accompanied by a finely –made modern wood casing that was painstakingly and accurately constructed bythe consignor with partitions and purple lining finely accomplished (the case is so well done it could fool many as original); accessories include an authentic Remington brass powder flask in good condition; aColt’s Patent bullet mold showing an old re-blue, an Eley Bros. cap tin and four replacement percussion nipples, frame screw and display case key; also included are cast conical and round lead display balls. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
