My name is Janaya Chekowski-Mckenzie and I am 8 years old, on Feb 1,2018 I was diagnosed with an
inoperable brain tumor and my mom was told I would only have about 9 months to live. She was
recommended radiation to shrink the tumor but there was never a survivor so all she could get me was
buy me some time to complete my bucket list and I had a long one. I was given a steroid called Dex
which caused a lot of weight gain and swelling but at the end of the radiation she was told that I had the
best results they had seen in years and I started losing the weight and feeling my old spunky self but
then the headaches began again. My doctor thought it wasn’t anything to worry about but did a scan
anyway, when they called my Mom back I think she knew it wasn’t good news. The tumor was growing
back and more aggressive this time. Mom, Amanda and my Stepdad, Jayte talked to the councilor and
decided to tell me the truth. They were told I had 2 weeks to 2 months to live, my heart was breaking, I
don’t want to die. Mom and Jayte were given no hope. She reached out on the face book page and Dr
Frank from New York had a treatment that had cured some patients that had no hope, so Mom asked
me if I would like to try it and I said yes even though I will lose my hair there is hope and I don’t want to
die. This treatment is very expensive, so a friend of my Uncle Trevor donated this Evil Knievel bike
helmet to auction off. I am sending a picture of myself the first day that I was brought to the hospital

Shipping is at the responsibility of the buyer. Small Items will be shipped by Canada Post after items have been verified.
Larger items (larger than parcel size) will be shipped by the freight line determined by the buyer of the assets. all shipping arrangements must be made with in 24 hours of auction and all assets MUST be picked up or shipped with in 72 hours of online auction finish time. all shipping costs will be charged to the buyer or charged collect.
Kastner Auctions does not ship any alcoholic items(lots).

Accepted Payment Methods:
Live auctions will be subject to a 17.5% buyers premium (unless otherwise noted). Also note some items will be subject to a handing fee. (Glassware that must be packed, pictures that must be wrapped, etc etc.) If shipping is not arranged within 72 hours the buyer agrees the auctioneer may auto ship all items at the buyers expense.
Online bidding during the Live Auction is a fast process, and therefore there is no confirmation given - bids will be taken immediately and are irrevocable.
The highest bidder shall be the purchaser upon the completion of bid verification. Bid verification will commence upon the conclusion of a live auction and may last 24 hours. All winning bidders shall be notified by email within the 24 hour bid verification period.
Kastner Auctions Ltd. is authorized to charge any bidders credit card for a deposit on any purchase(s) over $1000 during the auction. If deposit is not available bidding privileges may be revoked.
No bidder shall retract their bid. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the auctioneer, at his sole discretion may put the lot up for resale to the highest bidder.
A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.
The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.
The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his sole discretion.
Kastner Auctions Limited assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted. It is recommended that purchasers arrange insurance for their purchases in advance.
Except as set out herein, there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature.

No sale shall be invalidated by any reason or defect or inaccuracy of description in catalogue or otherwise, and no liability shall be borne by the auctioneers by virtue of any such fault or error. Attendance at the auction, preview, or removal by bidders and guests is done at their sole risk. Kastner Auctions assumes no risk or liability, statutory, common law or otherwise whatsoever for the safety of those attending at the auction premises.
All lots must be paid for on day of sale by Money, cash or credit card where acceptable. Internet bidders shall have within 24 hours upon receipt of their email notification to pay for their items.
All applicable excise and sales taxes shall be added to the purchase price.
The purchaser is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full. In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within the prescribed time, the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser. Any shortfall from sale plus commission and expenses thereof shall be paid by the purchaser.
All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the purchaser/bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer. The auctioneer may require proof of adequate insurance from the purchaser. The purchaser/bidder herby indemnifies the auctioneer and the vendor against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots.
Any lots not removed within the prescribed time shall be subject to storage, moving, disposal and service charges at the sole risk and expense of the purchaser. All such lots shall be deemed as abandoned and shall be subject to resale for the recovery of such charges. The purchaser shall also be liable for any rent or damages sustained by the auctioneer for failure to remove any lot.
If for any reason, Kastner Auctions Ltd is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Kastner Auctions Ltd shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to remove their items within the prescribed time. Kastner Auctions Ltd will NOT provide any delivery or transport of any nature for live auction items.
