Auction Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the participation in and conduct of the auction organized by Civic Auction House (hereinafter referred to as “the Auctioneer”). By participating in the auction, bidders agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Auction Details

3. Registration
• All bidders must register prior to participating in the auction. Registration can be completed online at live auction world or in person at the auction venue.
• Bidders must provide accurate personal information, including name, address, and contact details.
• Bidders may be required to provide a valid form of identification.
4. Bidding Process
• Bidding will commence at the starting bid price set by the Auctioneer.
• Bidders may place bids in increments as determined by the Auctioneer.
• Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed.
• The highest bid at the close of the auction will be deemed the winning bid, subject to the Auctioneer’s discretion.
5. Payment
• The winning bidder agrees to pay the final bid amount plus any applicable buyer’s premium, taxes, and fees.
• Payment must be made in full within 48hr of the auction’s conclusion.
• Accepted payment methods include payment methods, cash, credit card, bank etransfer.
6. Item Description and Condition
• All items are sold “as is” with no guarantees or warranties, either expressed or implied.
• The Auctioneer has made every effort to accurately describe items; however, bidders are encouraged to inspect items prior to bidding.
• The Auctioneer is not responsible for any inaccuracies in item descriptions.
7. Transfer of Ownership
• Ownership of the auction item will transfer to the winning bidder upon receipt of full payment.
• The winning bidder is responsible for the collection or delivery of the auction item.
8. Disputes
• In the event of a dispute regarding bids or the auction process, the decision of the Auctioneer is final and binding.
• Any disputes must be reported to the Auctioneer immediately.
9. Limitation of Liability
• The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the auction or the purchase of items including personnel injury.
10. Governing Law
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta
11. Amendments
• The Auctioneer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered bidders.
12. Acceptance
• By participating in the auction, bidders acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
