2013 BARREL STALLION SERVICE AUCTION
Stallion Service Auction Terms & Conditions
The stallion services will be sold at auction to the highest bidder. All bids will start at one-half the annual advertised fee and increase in $25.00 increments.
The auction will begin March 8, 2013, and continue through April 15, 2013, with the first stallion ending at 6:00 pm Standard Time and
the others following in 1 min increments. If a bid is made within the last minute of a stallion’s end time, five minutes will be added to that horse’s
time to allow for counter-bids and will be extended another five minutes each time a bid is made in the last minute.
Bidder Approval.
Bidders must provide name and credit card number in order to be approved for bidding, no matter the form of final payment. The successful bidder of a
stallion service must use the breeding during the current breeding season. All fees associated with boarding, mare care, cooled or frozen semen
and veterinary costs are between the successful bidder and the stallion owner. TQHA assumes no responsibility for any other business conducted
between the stallion owner and the successful bidder. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to make all necessary arrangements with the
stallion owner regarding breeding and the availability of shipped semen. All bids are final.
Bidders are strongly advised to obtain a copy of the appropriate stallion owner/agent breeding contract prior to bidding. All stallion services are sold “as is”.
Stallion owners/agents have agreed to waive any chute and/or farm fees. Collection and/or Shipping fees may still apply.
All services are sold with a live foal guarantee with the right to return the following season if the mare fails to settle in foal the year the service is purchased,
or fails to produce a live foal as per the covering stallion’s Stallion Service Contract.
Fees and Payment Information.
There will be a 4% online buyers fee that will be charged to the winning bidder. Payment will be sent within 7 days of auction closing to:

Checks, Cashier’s Checks, and Credit Cards (VISA, Mastercard, and American Express) will be accepted. Release from warranty.
The bidder specifically acknowledges and understands that the involved organization make no warranties either expressed, implied or by any other
means of interpretation in connection with this agreement. It is expressly understood that TQHA is acting only as an agent in providing the TQHA
Stallion Service Auction the public. Stallion owners/agents in turn have agreed to contribute the purchase price of the stallion service to benefit the
activities of TQHA. The organization assumes no liability for disputes that may arise between the bidders and the stallion owners/agents. Stallion
owners/agents are responsible for all content provided on the auction web site.
TQHA Stallion Service Auction proceeds will be used to sponsor TQHA member horses competing in barrel racing events at the discretion of
committee members. Offspring of these stallions will be eligible to compete in a TQHA Barrel Futurity & Derby.
