Colt Single Action Army revolver, .45 cal., 4-3/4" barrel, fully deluxe grade period scroll engraved with raised carved pearl grips, gray patina finish, serial #119114. Interestingly, this pistol shows a verydeluxe pattern similar to pistol #253161, which was presented to Robert D. Meldrum. The engraving is attributed to Helfricht, although there is no factory record on this serial number, possibly indicating a displaygun or presentation by Colt. There is traces of old gold gilt beneath the grips and traces of plating where protected. The metal surfaces show a lightly cleaned gray patina finish, with scattered light to moderatepitting, the quality of the engraving is excellent and beautifully accomplished. The grips are extra finely carved and show a large chip from bottom left, a few other chips and losses, and are about good to verygood. The markings are good, the action good, the bore fair. A very deluxe and interesting Colt Single Action and one of only two this cataloger has seen engraved in this highly unusual pattern. Est.:

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
