The successful bidder is responsible for all shipping, insurance and handling fees.
The shipping process will begin once all payments are finalized
ALL shipping charges must be made by credit card regardless of invoice payment method.
Items are packaged in house the week after the sale and shipped by Canada Post.
Items too large for postal shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
Items picked up from the sales room, within 7 days after completion of the auction, by the buyer or a representative of the buyer will not incur any handling fees from Words & Pictures.
Buyers must notify Words & Pictures within 24 hours after the completion of the auction, if they plan to pick up their purchases or have them shipped. Please contact Words & Pictures at 403 289-6998 for verification of shipping availability, as we DO NOT ship ALL items. We do not ship outside North America.

15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the subtotal of the winning bid amount, plus, 5% GST . For example: Winning Bid $100.00 + 15% Buyers premium = $115.00 + 5% GST ($5.75) = Total purchase price $120.75.

Live auctions will be subject to a 15% buyer’s premium (unless otherwise noted). Also note some items will be subject to a handling fee. (Statues that must be packed, pictures that must be wrapped, etc.)
Online bidding during the Live Auction is a fast process, and therefore there is no confirmation given - bids will be taken immediately and are irrevocable.
All items are sold "As Is-Where Is" with no guarantees, warranties, refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.
Catalogues are prepared only as a guide. No sale shall be invalidated for any reason or by defect or inaccuracy of description in the catalogue or otherwise.
No bidder shall retract their bid. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the auctioneer, at his sole discretion may put the lot up for resale to the highest bidder.
A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.
The auctioneer reserves the right to not accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.

The purchaser is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full. In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within the prescribed time, the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in whatever manner he sees fit without notice to the purchaser. Any shortfall from sale plus commission and expenses thereof shall be paid by the purchaser.
If for any reason, Words & Pictures is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of Words & Pictures shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
