PAYMENT IS DUE IN FULL SALE DAY IN CASH, CASHIER'S CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR TRAVELER'S CHECKS PAYABLE TO TRI STATE AUCTION SYSTEMS/METRO MOTORS on each unit sold. A 25% deposit will be required on each unit sold on the day of the auction. Balance of purchase price must be paid in full on the following business day and the unit must be removed upon final payment. If paid in full by cash, item may be released to buyers on day of sale. All retail sales are subject to applicable sales tax. All sales are final. Refunds or adjustments will not be made. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO BID.
The buyer pays an auction service fee. This varies by the price of the vehicle or equipment sold and will be added to the price the auctioneer announces as the final bid.
The buyer also pays a buyer premium on all items. The buyer's premium varies from 8 - 13% from auction to auction. Some items are a flat fee depending on the sale price. See schedule. You may obtain a schedule before the auction or see it posted.
The highest bidder is the successful buyer. All bids submitted are final and unchangeable. If you click the bid button you are submitting a binding bid in the amount displayed. If you are the highest bidder and the auctioneer sells the lot to you, you are the new owner of that lot. If any dispute arises between or among two or more bidders, the unit in dispute shall be immediately put up again for increased bids. If there are no increased bids, then the unit shall go to the person from whom the auctioneer recognized the last bid. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
