This is an example of a late WWII M1A1 Carbine manufactured by the Inland Manufacturing Division of General Motors fitted with an original GI paratrooper M1A1 folding stock. Standard receiver markings, Inland Division undated barrel, "N" blade front and "I.RCO." adjustable peep rear sights, Type I barrel band, round bolt, button safety, and unmarked magazine catch. Paratrooper stock with correct buttplate, 4-rivet handguard, low wood, uncircled "P" on the front of the pistol grip, crossed cannon cartouche and "10" on the bottom and "AAR" stamped on the left rear of the stock over the pistol grip. Complete with a green canvas sling and "SS" magazine.

Condition: Arsenal refurbished with 98% parkerized finish remaining with wear on the receiver side rails from normal usage. The bolt retains 60% blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The stock and handguard are very good with a few overall scattered minor dents and dings with a minor 1/2 inch crack on the lower right side of the pistol grip. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent. The sling is stained, but good.
